2018 Rotary Rebuilding Together

On Sat. Oct. 27, 2018 we had the pleasure of helping Louisa in East San Jose: In just one day we made a positive impact in her life. Eighty five year old Louisa owns the home that she and her husband first bought when they were immigrants from Cuba in the 70’s. Louise’s husband died just a few years ago. Students, Rotarians & volunteers from rebuilding together: - painted the entire outside house & front door - cleaned up the yard - trimmed trees & bushes - installed lights in bedroom - replaced kitchen hood - installed bathroom fan - installed rail by stairs in backyard patio - provided a patio set - addressed inside hazards with floor repair
