Member Spotlight
Cindy Gentile presented Carol Abela. A man who speaks two languages, has had two major successful careers and has fed most of us at many events.
He told us the story of how, in the beginning, he wanted to help at BBQs and in the kitchen, but was told that in order for that to happen, somebody had to die. Fortunately, for everyone’s sake, Carol was able to enjoy helping with BBQing and in the kitchen without anyone dying and has been so generous with all of us ever since.
He shared that he probably joined Rotary for the wrong reasons, but stayed for the right reasons. Rotary is honored to have you, Carol!
