Donation

Brad Stahl, Ed Stahl’s son, was at the meeting and on behalf of his whole family donated $10,000 to our club that Ed Stahl had bequeathed. He thanked the club for being such an important part of Ed’s life, and Paul thanked him for the generous donation and acknowledged what a valuable member Ed was in our Club.



Swag Opportunity

Karen Briones announced that order forms will be going out tomorrow for Rotary merchandise including polo shirts, hats, zip up jackets, and more. All orders will be charged to our Rotary account. Reach out to Karen Briones with any questions.
Blood Drive
The blood drive will be held on March 21 from 8:30 to 1:00pm at St. Luke’s. We are partnering with the Stanford Blood Center. Anyone who donates will receive a $20 gift card.
Grateful Garment Outreach
Grateful Garment Outreach dates are February 19 and March 14. Volunteers will be filling backpacks with necessities, comfort and love for victims of sexual assault.



Community Service

Hunger at Home food distribution pictures were shared from last Monday. Thanks to Lissa and Jeff for their stellar leadership with the Community Service Committee and all the fabulous outreach projects they provide for our Club!



Rotary CrabFest 2026
A huge thank you to Michelle Strachan and her dream team for a fabulous CrabFest. Revenue was estimated at $152,225, expenses were $28,099, with a net raise of $124,126.

Fund the Need raised $31,600 and our Rotary Charities will receive $92,526.

Recognition

Paul presented Michelle Strachan, Elaine Ware and Tina Orsi-Hartigan each with a Power of One Pin for all their hard work and leadership at the CrabFest.
Crab Cake Follow-up
Follow-up with the sale of crab cakes from the leftover crab from the evening. Thank you to Eric Eberlee and his team.
 
John Pencer sold five packages containing crab cakes and two New York steaks.

Twelve packages of crab cakes.

Rotary Youth Exchange

Merel, our Rotary exchange student from the Netherlands, spoke about her time as an exchange student in Los Gatos. She has loved her school experience and was impressed by the connection between the teachers and students at LGHS. She has been travelling, attending sports events, celebrated her first Halloween, and has participated in many service opportunities. Thank you to all and especially to Donna Brewster, who is the Director of our Youth Exchange program.
