Paula grew up in Southern California, went to Cal Poly, and then the University of San Diego to become a paralegal. She moved to San Francisco to work for a law firm, segued to Yahoo, and then spent most of her career at eBay. She retired last June and has focused on cooking, gardening, and traveling. Grantee Spotlight
Dan Snyder spoke about one of our grantees, Art in Action, which brings art into our local Los Gatos schools. Trained volunteers called art docents lead art classes and open horizons.

Member Spotlight
Nicollete introduced today’s spotlight, Gary Allison, a member of 20 years.
Gary spoke of his love for the good Rotary does all over the world. He loves the friendships he has made here and the positive changes he has seen as the club has evolved over the years. He became a Rotary member by bumping into a friend while skiing at Palisades. It was John Colwell, who talked him into becoming a member.

InnerWheel Presentation
Jan LeFevre from Saratoga InnerWheel presented the annual InnerWheel fundraiser. They are raising money for their prosthetic limb project that partners with Hanger Clinics to bring upper limb prosthetics to children in need. We have the opportunity to donate and perhaps win prizes. All donations are tax deductible. We have been supporters of this project for 40 years.

Guest Speakers
Sarah Schiltz introduced our guest speakers, Barbara St Clair and Merry Gold with NAMI, who spoke to us about mental wellness.
