Doug Brent called the meeting to order at 12:30pm
Pledge: Mike Norcia
Guests: Tad Egami, guest of Doug Carlen. Dave Westcott, guest of Gordon Levin.
Inspiration: Judy Rodriquez. Judy told a story about Socrates who was lauded for his wisdom and used a three-way test. She substituted Doug Brent and John Pencer as characters in the story, one who was passing on gossip about the other.
When passing on information make sure that it is the truth, will it do good, and is it useful. If your gossip does not contribute to the greater good, then do not pass it along.

Reality Check: Mariana Cozzella, the reality check advisor, and 4 of her students came to thank our Club for the monetary support we give them to keep their paper going. This is a student run paper that is published at Los Gatos High School and students can write, anonymously, about any kind of issue or problem they are dealing with: alcohol, drugs, depression, stress, suicide, etc. and a licensed counselor then writes about the topics from a professional point of view.

The target audience for this product is people with intolerances to lactose, gluten, etc. and allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, fish, eggs, milk, wheat and soy.
The inspiration for the product was Ryan Campbell, the father of one of the CEOs, who lives with very severe food sensitivities.
They shared their business plan, scheduled growth of the company, employee benefits and opportunities, and cost and expected revenues.
This was a fabulous presentation and a wonderful opportunity for all the students who shared how much they learned about business, communication, and collaboration.
The meeting ended with one student on the piano and the rest singing a rousing rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody.
Meeting was adjourned at 1:30pm.
