Angel Rampy: What is the most famous Halloween song?
It was written and produced in 1982 by Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones which included 62 musicians and 22 singers and sold a staggering 70 million copies. The most famous song during Halloween is “Thriller” from the “Thriller” album.
The production, time and energy that went into Thriller is very similar to what the Rotary Club does throughout the year. It takes a “village” to support all the Rotary projects we oversee and manage.

Remembrance of Dave Downing
Dave was a good friend, a kind person and someone who cared for all. Dave was the President of the Los Gatos Rotary Club 2005-2006. Dave was instrumental in helping to build a house and called on 50-60 volunteers (friends) to make this come together.

Speaker: Mantin Lu
Mantin Lu: Founder, Speaker & Coach, Success Strategies, 2026 Speaker of the Year-Amazon #1 Bestselling Author, 2-time TEDx Speaker, and Father of an Autistic Boy.
“Why we must change the game, and not the people, and get into our Golden Zone”.
Mantin’s biggest challenge was not in the gaming industry in which he started as an amazing animator and developed into a senior executive over a 20-year time frame. He was working for a billion-dollar gaming company and building amazing corporate teams throughout the organization.
His biggest challenge was personally in which he was dealing, understanding and overcoming the “dragons” in his own mind associated with his autistic son. He eventually used the same processes of building successful corporate teams to overcome his personal challenges resulting from his autistic son.
He changed his mindset, and “slayed the dragons”, to become a father who brought love and understanding to his relationship with his son.
